The resulting documentary is in the film festival circuit. Currently it is an “Official Selection” for two festivals and has garnered an “Honorable Mention”.

The fact that I was able to absorb so much knowledge in merely two weeks is nothing short of astonishing. From learning about the culture of Buenos Aires to the ins and outs of documentary filmmaking, my awareness of the world and the people of Argentina was enriched exponentially.
“The program went beyond my expectations. I was expecting that I could learn the basics of documentary filmmaking and get a start. Now I actually feel that I am fully ready with all the basics to be confident in making my own documentaries or working/interning for a documentary making company.
The program gave me the opportunity to be more comfortable with adobe Premiere Pro, understand the basics of the different levels in production. A great opportunities to interview people, learn a new culture and how dance can be so influential in connecting people together.
I had a blast the entire time and loved every second of the trip.The most meaningful part of the experience was the end product of our film being shown to the subjects of it and how it impacted them positively. Getting to know and have meaningful conversations with them was amazing and allowed me to practice the little Spanish that I knew prior.
